Sakai's specialty conger eel dish, "Taishu Golden Conger Eel," was loved by the famous artist and gourmet, Rosanjin, and is a large, fatty conger eel caught near the border with Korea, off the west coast of Tsushima City, Nagasaki Prefecture.Its first feature is that it feeds on high-quality shrimp, octopus, and squid, which means that it has a different fat content than conger eels caught elsewhere, and its taste is exceptional.The fish is prepared immediately after opening, so it's extremely fresh.
